I'm pretty sure that the chili relleno is vegetarian, but yes they are very happy to accommodate your requests.
They have good servise and an special area for puppies
The worst food I have ever had from a restaurant. No sour cream or guacamole and the chile verde pork chimichangas was so dry I couldn't even swallow it.
The food is good but loved the service! Very sweet and accommodating staff. Fish and Shrimp tasted fresh. Must try Mango Margaritas w Tejin rim. Kids meal is a good value.
Everything about this place is excellent quality, the food, the service and most especially the horchata. Walking into this family owned restaurant, it feels warm and comfortable. It is responsibly priced and almost all the food is celiac safe. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We love Tio Pepe. The staff, especialmente Pablo, is very friendly. Food is great especially the shredded beef tacos and bandarillas. Feliz Cinco de Mayo amigos!
Nice staff. Food was good. Price reasonable. Would eat there again
This place was terrible, got to the restaurant and the host said "Somebody help me" while we waited awhile to be seated. The food was awful, I wouldn't call it authentic Mexican food that's for sure! Taco bell would taste better and have better service. 0/10 would recommend.
Great service and great food!
Love them
Great place to go in Old Auburn . Service is timely, food is great, good Margaritas! Try their Nacho Supreme! Then walk it off going through the shops when you're done!
Always a favorite place to visit when I'm in Auburn. Try a margarita made with Clase Azul tequila; you won't regret it.
We’ve been coming here forever. The margaritas, guacamole and fish tacos are our favorite anywhere. The rice is the best I’ve ever had. We love this place. We’ve eaten Mexican all over the country. Please come & give it a try. It’s really good. Great for large parties too. Love the employees here. Can’t say enough good.
Food was delicious. Beans were perfect! We could have eaten just beans and rice.
Delicious fresh salsa and authentic Mexican dishes, served by friendly staff
Best crem brule
Nice looking restaurant. Good food not exactly authentic and a little spendy for what you get.
Love my mex food and this place has some of my favorite dishes.Sometimes they get a bit busy but it has never effected the grate service. One of my top must try...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Good food. I eat there often. Nice patio outside with music in the summer.
It was a new place to eat for me. It's colorful and the server was very friendly. The food was good
Love it love it love not his only the food excellent but so is to staff. Down-home Mexican decor
Mediocre food with unenthusiastic wait staff. It was lovely to sit out on the patio in the evening.
Overpriced for mediocre (at best) food. Service was also painfully slow. Wouldn’t recommend.
Food was great. Service was mediocre. My water glass was always being filled, which important to this water buffalo. However, when it came for the check no one was around. We had to track them down. Shrimp fajitas were amazing. Margarita was good. And salsa was great flavors, just would have liked it a little chunkier.
The food was very good especially taquitos
Great traditionally made Mexican food. Nice atmosphere. Outside seating in Old Town Auburn.
Always great food here! Excellent FREE chips & salsa too. Full service bar. Great place to eat outside on a beautiful day!
It is okay if you are hungry and you need a mexican place, but probably there are better options.
We sat on the patio and had a delicious meal.
Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. However, the saddest part was the food. The dishes were exceptionally mediocre. Each dish our party ordered was lacking in quality in an almost aggressive way. The expansive menu of this restaurant offered no gems to our group. I ordered the fish tacos which were disgusting, very sad filets of fish placed insider ever sadder looking tortillas. Just don't waste your time and go anywhere else.
Warm and full of Christmas decorations. The food was well prepared. My wife said the steak in her steak fajitas was the most tender that she eaten in a long time. The chili reyeno was delicious. They just need to step it up on the salsa. More of a slightly spicey tomato sauce. Was charged extra for a cup of pico de gallo that was lacking any personality. Overall, a good meal. Would recommend.
I've been going to this little gem of a restaurant for over 30 years! I ordered the chili Colorado burrito and loved it. My other two favorites are the hombre burrito, and their sizzling fajitas! Best authentic Mexican food in town in my opinion. The staff there are great and the food is excellent! If you haven't tried it, you are missing out.
Foggy window which obscured the view of the famous Fire House! It's been there for years and they can't bother to change it. Portions not huge, but decent food and friendly service.
Both our meals were obviously microwaved and not cooked in the restaurant. Prices were high for whst we got. I asked for black beans and was given refried beans. I did not send it back as the speed of delivery after the order proved it was microwaved meals and beans out of a can. The bathroom was clean and the server was nice. I don't plan on returning.
Ewww yuck...over priced and the food was horrible. Super slow service
Has a full bar. Ordered a couple of appetizer reasonable price. They also have a patio you can sit with your dog.
Wow!! Sooo good... shredded beef crunchy taco, rice, beans, chips, salsa... the food was yummy! And the place so quaint and serene. Nice atmosphere.
Food was terrible and service even worse. $7 margaritas served in plastic mugs and mostly ice. About an hour to get our order and not at a busy time. Sour cream tasteless and charge $1.50 for about two tablespoons without informing you in advance. When I asked about the extra charge for the small amount of tasteless sour cream our older waitress rudely responded to me, "We don't need customers like you." Albondigas soup was like chicken broth with two small meatballs. Flan tasted like jello . . . inedible! Servers don't refill water or clear dirty plates and you have to walk your own bill up to cashier. Don't eat here.
Flavorful Mexican food. Friendly service. And a nice location.
The closest thing to Puerto Vallarta's Cafe Ola. Their shrimp fajitas are to live for. When the weather is decent, dining on their patio is delightful. When it's cold or rainy, the inside mural and other decor take me back to Vallarta, as does the food, and the Modelo Negra and Pacifico beer. Such a good total experience. Prices are reasonable too.
Great food, plus they had a burger and fries to satisfy my nephew. Good chips too.
Tried this place before with a friend and I am addicted since then. I loved the fantastic vibes and flavorful dishes and drinks. They never disappoint.
Chips and salsa are amazing!
Food and service were both good, prices were reasonable.
I would give this place 0 stars if it were possible. The service was absolutely horrible and the food was even worse. I've had better food and service at Taco Bell. Absolutely overpriced for the quality for one. For two, our food looked nothing like how it was pictured on the menu. I ordered the chimichanga and it was 90% tortilla and 10% chicken with no cheese inside it at all as was described on the menu. And to top that off, there was no sauce on it like it showed in the picture. Just a slab of sour cream and guacamole. They never came to refill our water glasses even once and the man who "greeted" us, if that's what you even wanna call it, didnt even look up from whatever he was doing on his tablet to for the uncomfortable 5-10 minutes we were standing there waiting for him to simply say "someone will be with you soon" or anything at all really. I wish we would have walked out right then and there. I hope this review encourages people to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS S***HOLE.
This authentic Mexican restaurant is so good. Staff is so nice, margarita's are great & food is priced very reasonable. A must when you are in Auburn.
Great Mexican restaurant in old Auburn. They have live music Fri-Sun evenings with a nice little outdoor patio. The bands change weekly and repeat about every 3-4 weeks.
This place is worth the drive an the drinks are awsome depending on what u like try them out an. See what u think
We have gone to Tio Pepe's for many years. The people that work there obviously enjoy their work! The food is consistently good. They have a nice bar. It is quiet enough that we can enjoy a conversation without struggling. I really recommend this place! Oh, there is parking behind the restaurant if the front is packed.
Beautiful place, kind staff, great location <3
